Coca-Cola hired Modern Dog to work on the rebranding of Powerade in the winter 2006. It was during this six-month project that we hired our Cornish design student Rob Zwiebel. To maintain brand consistency, Coca-Cola stipulated that we had to carry over the Powerade alien "P". The comps shown here were pulled from our first round and last round of ideas, and include logotype exploration work as well as applications such as vending machines, give aways, advertisements and billboards. Unfortunately, our work on the rebranding didn't make it to market, but we like to think we helped Powerade get a little closer to the final design iteration.
